In 1983, Birgit and Hervé Brin opened a small laboratory on the island. Using traditional recipes, they extracted delicate oils from plants, flowers and fruits. The exquisite cosmetics made of exotic plants and fruits were soon regarded as a secret beauty tip among top models, photographers and make-up artists. In order to be able to supply Europe as well, Birgit Brin’s brother founded a branch office in Munich in 1993. Today, the small family business supplies luxurious spas in exclusive hotels worldwide as well as several upmarket perfumeries.
